Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Reserved pasta water (as needed)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper and sear them until crispy on the outside and juicy inside, cooking in batches if necessary.
  3. Lower heat and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, then whisk in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, mixing well to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
  5. Serve hot topped with steak bites and garnish with fresh parsley.
