  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Add milk, egg yolks, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Sift in the flour and cornstarch; combine until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whip egg whites with salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add more sugar and beat until stiff peaks develop.
  5. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three additions.
  6. Divide batter among cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until lightly golden and set.
