  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup light or dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp freeze-dried blueberry powder
  • 24 tbsp blueberry jam
  • Liquid, gel, or powder food coloring (blue, green)
  • 1 tbsp melted milk or dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp melted white chocolate
  • Oil-based food coloring (pink/red)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, blueberry powder, and blueberry jam until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet with space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for about 11 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. Let cool before decorating.
