Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (warmed to 110°F)
  • 2 packets active rise yeast
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Oreo pieces
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to about 110°F and combine it with active yeast in a large bowl. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and sugar. Gradually mix this dry mixture into the yeast mixture along with beaten eggs and softened butter until combined into a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl and let rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing room-temperature butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, cocoa powder, salt, and Oreo pieces in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over it. Roll tightly from one long side and slice into equal pieces (about 12).
  6. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish and allow them to rise again for about 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the glaze by beating together cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and crushed Oreos until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
