  • 2 white onions (sliced into 1/4 inch thick rings)
  • 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • Salt, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and create small cheese molds using about 1 tablespoon of shredded parmesan for each ring.
  3. Place an onion slice on top of each cheese mold and add another tablespoon of parmesan over each slice.
  4. Gently press down on the cheese-covered onion slices with the back of a spoon.
  5. Season each ring with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and any additional spices you prefer.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
