Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in egg yolk and cold water to form dough.
  2. Roll out the dough and fit it into a tart pan. Bake for about 15 minutes until lightly golden, then allow to cool completely.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; add vanilla extract.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust and arrange sliced strawberries on top.
